Website edition: October 12, 2026, based on app policy version 2026-10-11-1, with current Plus availability.
Everyday app messaging and replies are included with your LittleVoice device. An archive subscription is not required to communicate. Messages can be up to three minutes long.
Free history
Free cloud recordings expire after 30 days. For app recordings with an accepted original timestamp, the clock starts at that recording time. Current device recordings that do not supply a reliable original time use the time our service first receives them. The app shows each recording's expiry date; time spent in the device's offline queue can therefore affect the total time a device recording exists.
Download a recording you want to keep before its deadline. A favourite is only a marker and does not extend free retention. Expired/deleted recordings are not recoverable through an upgrade. Authorized per-recording downloads are available while the recording remains accessible. Where a bulk export is too large to complete at once, individual downloads remain available and you can contact support for assistance.
Optional archive trial
The household owner can choose one 14-day archive trial, subject to one-trial eligibility per owner account and household. It requires no card, does not renew automatically and never charges you.
The app shows when trial access ends and the download-grace deadline. Starting the trial protects eligible recordings that are still accessible; it does not recover recordings that have expired. Trial-protected recordings remain accessible for 14 days after trial access ends so authorized participants can download them.
New recordings created during that download-grace period follow the free 30-day rule. At the end of the relevant deadline, recordings expire and enter the deletion process. Core messaging and replies continue. Choosing free messaging remains available without starting the trial.
Optional LittleVoice Plus subscription
LittleVoice Plus is available as a separate, optional subscription combining WhatsApp messaging and cloud memories. Buying a device does not enrol you. Eligible children can receive a seven-day Plus trial, which requires a card and renews at the displayed local monthly price per child, plus applicable taxes, unless cancelled before the trial ends. The Plus checkout shows the price, currency, taxes, billing frequency, included features, renewal terms and cancellation method before you subscribe. This is separate from the optional 14-day archive trial, which requires no card and never charges or renews automatically. Starting the archive trial does not authorize a Plus subscription.
With LittleVoice Plus, eligible recordings saved to the archive remain protected while Plus access is active. Cancelling renewal keeps benefits until the paid-through date. Previously protected recordings then receive 30 days of download grace after actual paid access ends. New recordings during grace follow the free 30-day rule. A renewal or resubscription protects only surviving accessible recordings. Early manual deletion, valid privacy withdrawal and account deletion override archive protection.
An archive plan does not expand who may listen to a message. It does not include translation unless a separate, available feature and its privacy terms are clearly disclosed before purchase. There is no promise of permanent or lifetime storage.
Deletion and family changes
Recording expiry ends authorized service access and triggers removal of service-held audio copies. Manual deletion takes priority over trial/paid access and favourites. Short-lived download links issued before revocation may persist until they expire. The Privacy Policy explains active-system deletion jobs, their failure handling and the separate restricted-backup aging target.
Removing a family contact stops that person's approved participation but does not erase every recording already sent. Deleting an adult account removes its owned-household recordings and its sent/received recordings, including copies made available in other participants' histories. Read the deletion confirmation carefully.
Managed offline devices receive deletion instructions when they reconnect. We cannot recall a recipient's independently saved file, another person's recording of playback or an operating-system copy outside our control. Protect downloaded files and contact us for data-erasure instructions before resale or disposal. Changing Wi-Fi settings alone does not erase family information.
Fair use and service protection
Use the service for ordinary personal/family voice messages, not automated bulk traffic, commercial broadcasting or unrelated file storage. Protective account and family limits apply to new uploads, previews, exports and other costly requests so one participant cannot exhaust shared service capacity. A rejected request may need to wait before retrying; it does not erase recordings already in your archive. These controls do not promise unlimited capacity: processing limits, connectivity and outages can also affect availability.
If particular activity materially disrupts the service, we may limit that activity, explain the issue where safe and practicable, and offer a way to seek review. We will not quietly use an internal operating budget as a new customer archive quota. Any future plan limit affecting ordinary use must be clearly disclosed before it applies, with legally required notice, choices and remedies. It must not retroactively erase a promised archive without lawful authority.
